Placing an Order

All cookies are made fresh to order and therefore require 2 weeks notice. If you are requesting something very unique please complete an order form with as much advance time as possible as sourcing some materials (especially cookie cutters) can take some time. VEGAN cookies are available upon request. All cookies are nut free (no almond extract unless requested).

There’s no such thing as ordering too far in advance. Summer and holiday seasons are extremely busy and since cookies take lots of time and steps, it’s best to reserve your date! In order to confirm an order, a 50% non-refundable deposit is due.

Expect to hear a response within 2 business days of submitting the order form. Please check your spam if you don’t see a response from sweetescapekitchen@gmail.com

Pricing

Cookie orders will vary on price based on the final design and packaging.

Cookie dozens start at $50 and final price will be determined after the order form is completed.

You can check out the available fixed price cookie sets listed below. In the order form select the correct pre-set cookie option or custom design.

Pick Up

Standard pick up location is in Chicago, Irving Park neighborhood. We will set a pick up date/time once the order is confirmed.

Please honor your pick up time and date. I will keep your cookies for up to one week after the scheduled pick up time and after that they will be donated.

Shipping & Handling

Cookies can be shipped across the US. Cookies are carefully individually packaged with bubble wrap to ensure they arrive in great condition.

Please order in advance as shipping can take 2-5 days. Shipping is $20 for up to 2 dozen cookies. For orders larger than 2 dozen, final shipping & handling price will be set when discussing the order over email.

I do my best to ensure cookies are well packaged so they arrive in great condition however I am not responsible for any damages that may occur once they are dropped off with the shipping servicer.

Additional Fees

For orders placed with less than 7 days notice from pick up date, there will be a $10 rush fee added for up to 2 dozen cookies and $20 for orders greater than 2 dozen.

Waukegan pick up can sometimes be arranged for a $8 fee.

Gold detailing on lettering will have an additional fee that will be determined based on cookie design.

Packaging options – individual bags, clear boxes, ribbon can also be added for a fee. Individual bag packaging is $3/dozen, bags with ribbon $7/dozen and boxes are $1.50/cookie.
